The Growth Lab
Growing healthy eCommerce stores
Does your online store need a boost?
Have you launched your e-commerce store, but sales aren’t landing?
Are you overwhelmed by UX, conversions, shipping, content, or marketing, and don’t know where to start?
Or are you feeling stuck and looking for some expert perspective, clear direction, and a plan that actually works?
I can help.
Does this sound like you?
- Capital tied up in stock, can’t buy more, can’t move current stock
- Bills are eating your cash flow
- Sales are falling short
- You’re working 18 hours a day and having sleepless nights to keep the store open
- Everyone is an expert who can find everything wrong with your store and wants to invoice you up to your eyeballs
- The hole where money is pouring out of your business gets bigger by the day.
I’ve been exactly where you are.
Welcome to the Growth Lab
The Growth Lab is a House of Jam e‑commerce audit and strategy offering, designed to help you grow a healthy online store.
Built from my personal experience and struggles owning and managing two of my own e-commerce stores.
The highs are so high, but the lows will test you
I am not going to promise you 6-figure conversions or a 300% increase in traffic.
I’m here to get you out of the weeds, give you back your confidence and momentum so you can build a store that will grow with you and thrive.
I firmly believe in a connection-first, conversion-second approach. If you build and nurture your community, they will support you forever.
Sound like a bit of you?

Mrs Jam
After a baptism of fire as a freelance copywriter in the early 2000s, I hit the e-commerce ground running, emerging with a dual niche of communications and an infatuation for analytics.
I have survived bringing up teenagers (that should absolutely be considered a skill!) and ran a business in Africa for 12 years – also known as wine and crying.
I’ve owned and run two of my own eCommerce stores, at the same time, while growing our spice business and juggling a family. What could possibly go wrong….?
From business awards to sleepless nights, packing orders, marketing, inventory, procurement, accounting, deliveries, you name it, I worked across every function in my e-commerce stores.
Out in the country with dogs asleep on my feet, cats curled up on the printer and a chicken snuggled on my lap, a tiny budget and a relentless determination not to fail.
I learned everything the hard way.
So you don’t have to.
